Just received my safego. Haven’t used it yet. Waiting for the warmer weather but so far easy to program with my code. Lightweight and good solid quality plastic. Big enough to hold essentials—-Phone, keys, wallet, tissues and even small sunscreen. Roomier than it looks.

Read MoreLove this little lock box! We bought one of these after being at a water park with a friend who was using one. We got ours and it has worked great already several times going to a waterpark and a state park where we couldn't carry all of our stuff with us the whole time.
It's super easy to set the code on the box and you have the key as a backup just in case you forget! So far, we have stored both in iPhone 7 Plus, and iPhone 6, a set of keys and a men's and women's wallet in it at one time. It's a major money saver over time (don't have to rent a locker), it seals well, it locks easily and holds enough to be effective but not so much that it's overly bulky. Great buy!

Kept our phones cool too since it wasn't in direct sun and sand free. Every one of my friends was so curious about it lol And I just kept all my things in it the whole time and I'd take it out at the convince stores to get my wallet out etc. Clerks would ask what it is... The dumbest question I got was..."Why would you take that to the beach? There's nothing to hook it too." Let me tell you, there is plenty to hook it to... lawn chairs, fences or you can string it through the straps of the multiple bags you brought to the beach... The goal of the product is to deter theft and make it too much work. No one is going to run off, on a hot, sandy beach with 3 bags hooked through a lock box.... aint happening. Also, if it did. There'd be a lot more time to find a phone and cancel cards etc.... since you'd need equipment to get into the box.

Read MoreThis is the excellent item, that saves me from the worry at the beach. I put inside our car keys, two iPhones, two pairs of eyeglasses, and still there is some room. I try to discreetly attach it to the beach chair and cover with the towel. You should argue that someone can take a chair and cut the cord later, but it will be too big hassle : ). What I want is to have (in addition to the lock box safe) an additional longer cord, so I could keep two chairs together, but this probably will make the item even more expensive. The lock works fine. I used it weekly for two months and it works like new. I set a new password using the enclosed instruction' it was very easy to do. I am very glad that I bought this model. There are a lot of the competitors on the market, but this safe is very light, sturdy, and can be used as temporary purse when we are going from the beach for a lunch. We have it in dark blue color which I like. If you need to keep your things at the beach relatively safe while you are going for a swim, then I highly recommend this lock box safe.

Nothing to stop someone from walking off with the whole lounge chair though so we wrap our safe around 2 chairs or any permanent structure nearby. Easy to change the combination. includes 2 keys with a wrist strap. My only problem with this is that it my iphone 6s plus with otterbox defender case will not fit. Not a deal breaker though or justification not to give this 5 stars. Outstanding product!!

Read MoreThis turned out to be an awesome vacation accessory! I am usually always keeping an eye on my belongings while at the pool, never really relaxing. With this safe, I had the flexibility to wrap it around two chair arms, locking it in place while still keeping it discretely in my beach bag. Sure, someone could have taken it, but I suspect people would notice someone running off with two lounge chairs. It's a little on the heavy side, but you don't want something flimsy that would break easily if someone really wanted to get at it, right? It won't quite fit a kindle, but I was able to put a wallet and two phones in it, with room to spare. Oh, and I loved the idea of a keyed lock, just in case we forgot the passcode. Great item all around, I'll be using it again and again as we travel!

Read MoreI purchased this for extra hotel room security. Easy to change the code. I like the option if a key or code. Having the cable adjustable was great. I put this under the hotel bed and attached it to the leg closest to the wall. It would not have been found unless someone looked under the bed. I did not use it at the pool or beach but I know I'll find more uses for it. The size is nice and deep. I could get all my cash, cell phone, meds, jewelry...the uses are endless. I am going to see if it will fit under my car seat to use as a car safe to lock up things if needed. It should fit. Fingers crossed. I'm glad I got it. Reading the reviews of other products I realized I needed something bigger and sturdy. This was a more expensive option but I feel it was the safest (as a deterrent) with a good amount of space. It's light weight too. If you have a little extra money to spend, go with this one.
